Sean Patrick Flanery Bio
Sean Patrick Flanery – Wayne
Born and raised in Quail Valley, a suburb nestled away in the heart of Texas, Sean Patrick Flanery graduated from John Foster Dulles High School in 1984. He continued his studies at the University of St.Thomas in Houston where, on a complete lark, he took a drama class to be nearer to a girl with whom he was infatuated. Although it wasn’t love at first sight with the girl, it was with the craft of acting andb Flanery eventually grew into quite a prolific actor in and around campus. Following his graduation he moved out to L.A. and pursued it with a passion. Although his arrival in L.A. saw Flanery start out as a professional waiter, he landed an agent in just eight short months and began getting booked for commercials and small acting jobs. His earliest screen credits include roles in two multi-part movies on the Mickey Mouse Club titled Just Perfect and My Life as a Babysitter.
Since then, Flanery’s many diverse acting efforts include Frank & Jesse (1994), Guinevere (1994), The Grass Harp (1995), Powder (1995), The Method (1997) for which he also served as executive producer, Suicide Kings (1997), Zack & Reba (1998), Simply Irresistible (1999) with Sarah Michelle Gellar, The Boondock Saints (1999), Body Shots (1999) and Kiss The Bride (2002). Some of his many television guest appearances include The Outer Limits, Stargate SG-1, Charmed, The Twilight Zone and his recurring role as Greg Stillson on USA Network’s The Dead Zone.
Flanery is perhaps most recognized as the title role of famed global adventurer in The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones and has recently started production in the lead role of Wayne in the thriller Kaw. Flanery is a triathlete with a black belt in karate.
